Before your appointment
- Tell the practitioner about previous permanent makeup, ink reactions and relevant skin conditions.
- For lip work, mention cold sores; for eyeliner, mention eye symptoms and contact lenses so the practitioner can advise.
After your appointment
- Follow the artist’s cleaning instructions and do not pick healing skin or apply unapproved products over it.
- Worsening redness, swelling or discharge needs assessment. Eye pain or vision changes after eyeliner work require prompt medical attention.

What is the difference between Microblading and Powder Brows?
Microblading creates fine, crisp hair strokes manually to simulate individual real hairs. Powder Brows use a digital machine to shade pigment into the skin, producing a soft, misty makeup finish that works best for oily skin.
Does microblading hurt?
Discomfort is minimal and often described as a light scratch or tickle. We apply medical-grade topical numbing creams before and during the appointment to keep the treatment area comfortable throughout.
Is microblading suitable for oily skin?
Microblading can be done on oily skin, but excess sebum production can cause hair strokes to soften or blur faster over time. Clients with oily skin or enlarged pores often benefit more from Powder Pixel Brows or a Combination/Hybrid Brow technique.
How long does microblading last?

Why is a 6-week touch-up session necessary?
