- While the skin is irritated, avoid hot bathing and friction; a cool compress can help with discomfort.
- Use a gentle moisturiser suitable for your skin. Persistent redness, swelling or worsening pain needs assessment rather than more waxing.

How long does a chest wax take?
A standard chest wax at Galeo Beauty takes between 20 to 30 minutes, depending on hair density and whether a light pre-trim is needed.
Does chest waxing hurt?
The center of the chest (sternum) can be slightly sensitive, but the sting lasts only a second. Our therapists use fast-pull techniques and soothing post-wax formulas to make the session quick and very manageable.
Does a chest wax include the stomach area?
A standard Chest Wax covers from the collarbones down to the bottom of the ribcage. If you want hair removed below the ribcage down to the belt line, you can easily combine it with our Full Tummy Wax service.
How do I prevent pimples or bumps after getting my chest waxed?
Post-wax bumps (folliculitis) occur when sweat or bacteria enter open pores. To keep skin clear, avoid sweating, tight gym tops, or touching the area for 24–48 hours, and apply a light anti-bacterial soothing lotion.
How long will my chest stay hair-free after waxing?
