Will IPL work on fine blond 'peach fuzz' on the face and neck?
IPL relies on melanin (pigment) in the hair shaft to convert light into heat. It works exceptionally well on dark brown or black hair. Pale blond, grey, white, or red vellus hair ('peach fuzz') contains little pigment and may not respond effectively to light pulses.
